Install a Custom Pergola in North Scottsdale, AZ

North Scottsdale has over 300 days of sunshine annually, and if you want to make the most of them, you’ll need a place to relax and enjoy the fresh air. However, without shade, your relaxation won’t last very long. If you’re looking to spruce up your backyard for spending time with friends and family, we install custom decks and pergolas in North Scottsdale, Arizona.

Erdmann Outdoor Living has been in business since 1982, giving us more than four decades of backyard renovation experience. No matter your style, we can help design the perfect deck or pergola to complement your home.

Struxure Louvered Pergolas in North Scottsdale

Summers in North Scottsdale can be unbearable without shade, and if you want to control how much shade you get, a louvered roof pergola may be the perfect solution.

Unlike fixed pergolas, our pergolas use motorized aluminum louvers that rotate up to 160 degrees, letting you dial in exactly how much light or shade you want throughout the day. You can keep them closed during monsoon season or peak-heat hours for protection from the elements, and then open them up on cool evenings to let in more light and air.

Designing Custom Pergolas in North Scottsdale

We work exclusively with Struxure pergolas in North Scottsdale because their durable powder-coated aluminum construction is built to withstand Arizona’s constant UV exposure, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have to pick a one-size-fits-all design.

We can customize your pergola with Struxure pergola accessories like built-in heating and lighting to make your space more comfortable and useful. Plus, we’ll tailor your design to your specific layout and provide a full 3D rendering before building, so you’ll see exactly what you're getting before we pull any permits.

TimberTech Deck Installation in North Scottsdale

A solid deck is the foundation for most backyard renovations, and in Arizona, the material you choose can make a big difference. The Southwest’s high heat and constant sunshine can wreak havoc on traditional wooden decks, which is why we install TimberTech decks.

TimberTech’s PVC construction resists warping and doesn’t require any seasonal painting or staining, making it a practical choice for your home's future resale value and structural integrity.

We also install deck accessories in North Scottsdale, like lighting and privacy features, to customize your space and make it more functional for your needs. If you have special additions in mind, we’ll work with you to deliver an installation that meets your expectations.
