Aesthetic & Functional Space
We chose to work with Erdmann Outdoor Living to help us create our backyard outdoor space. They were easy to work with and came up with a design option that really maximized what we felt was important to us. The finished product was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional for our family. The features that stand out including our built in grill, counter space with a drop in ice chest, dual garbage/recycle bins, outdoor lighting, a "Big Fan" under the covered roof and a space for our fire pit with enough wall seating for others to join the fun! They even installed our outdoor TV! They created a walkway from the front of the house to back as a path to access the patio. Appreciate working with Becca and Kyle - they thought of everything we would need to make this special for us! We really love our space.
So happy with our backyard project
Edrmann did a really amazing job on our back yard! Kyle was always very responsive to all my questions. The team removed our old deck and put a new, bigger and better quality deck in! Tim & Nick were a great team to have on our project. They were very nice & clean workers. I was also very happy to have check-in meetings with Kevin. Becca did a great job with the renderings. We also added an outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, a couple privacy walls and the Struxure. She was very patient with me when it came to the layout of everything. I was able to see how everything would be laid out in 3D and in the colors I chose. Which made me feel very comfortable. I absolutely love the cabinet color and counters Becca helped me choose. I would highly recommend Erdmann Outdoor Living!
Screened in Porch Project
Erdmann Outdoor Living built a screened in porch on the back of my house and a small deck on the side of my house. This was my third project with Erdmann - previous projects included siding, windows, soffit, fascia, and a new front porch. Kyle and Becca did a great job understanding what I was looking for. The CAD drawings that were completed by Becca were very helpful in visualizing the final product. The detailed contract completed by Kyle ensured that my expectations were being met. All of the materials used in the project were high quality. The extra attention to taping and flashing the deck and roof structures to ensure that water infiltration would never be a problem were exceptional. Josh, Hayden, and Ramone were the onsite crew. Josh was great at explaining each step of the process and what would be happening each day. He was patient and always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly; it was very clear that he wanted to ensure that I would be happy with the end result. The guys were very respectful of my property and fun to have onsite. A few weeks after the job was completed, Kyle came out to my house to turn over the warranty documents and to check to see if there were any issues that they needed to take care of. This is a major reason as to why I've used Erdmann on so many of my house projects. I know they will be around for many years to come and they will stand behind their workmanship and the products that they use.
Love our New Struxure
We were very pleased with the installation team (led by Josh that included Ramon and Hayden - all were excellent). The quality and functionality of the StruXture unit is very impressive. We are very satisfied with the entire Erdmann team.
Struxure Project
From my very first call to the completion of my shade structure installation Kyle and his team were responsive and attentive to this unique projects needs. We worked together with the village of Winnetka to coordinate the installation of shade structure at a commercial site that is truly one of a kind. Erdmann Outdoor Living was able to help me transform and revitalize an abandoned service station and installed a beautiful structure giving a modern look to this historic and unique building located in Winnetka, Illinois. I would highly recommend Erdmann Outdoor Living when you are ready to transform your outdoor space.

Love our new space!
We recently completed our deck project with Erdmann. From start to finish the entire team was fantastic. It was very helpful to see our deck design come to life in pictures to ensure we were making the right choices to fit our needs. I can’t say enough positive things about our install crew. Josh and Hayden did an awesome job and the attention to the little details especially on the feature wall really paid off. It’s clear Erdmann does high quality work and has the staff to pull it altogether. Very pleased with the entire project that has received a ton of positive comments from the neighbors.
Outdoor Living Review
Erdmann removed a deck, patio, and path and installed a smaller more modern deck with lightning, a larger patio with fence and planters, and an amazing half circle brick walkway with lighting.
Transformed Our Backyard
We hired Erdmann Outdoor Living to transform our old backyard patio into a beautiful new deck and patio. We were very happy with the design and product selection process and felt like all of our preferences and concerns were taken into consideration. We are so pleased with the quality and functionality of both the deck and patio. It has transformed our backyard into a space we actually use and enjoy.
